Scooters is the worst business for lawn mowers in SE TEXAS. I bought a mower there in January of last year. They tried to charge me $170.00 for an 8 hour oil change. The repair guy changed the spark plug, air filter, and other unneeded stuff after 8 hrs. of use. After about 50 hrs. of mowing time I noticed a possible minor oil leak, which could have been from oil filter. I took mower back to incase it was warranty problem and asked them to go ahead and change oil and grease the mower. They called me after 4 days and told me my mower was ready. I asked what I owed and the guy told me $ 169.00 and some change. I replied for an oil change and grease job? I will be right there. when I got there I asked Them pull the work order which said Oil change, grease job and change oil and air filter. They once again tried to charge me for a spark plug and fuel filter plus $106.00 labor. I told them I can get my Avalon's oil changed, greased, and tires rotated for about $60.00. They reduced the bill to $126.00 I paid it and told them they will never see me again. If you do business with them watch out, you will be SCAMMED.
