Cakes, Catering & Event Planning The Old Place is a family owned restaurant that was started in 1979 by Bertis, Louise & LuAnne Moore. They serve good ole' country home cooked food buffet style and ya'll its all you care to eat! LuAnne's daughter Laura is the fourth generation in the business. Laura has brought her love of catering and event planning to the business as well! If you want a southern soulful meal head to the Old Place Restaurant. It's located in a little town called Bear Creek in North Carolina out in the beautiful countryside. The farmhouse itself sits on a 100 acre farm that Bertis, LuAnne & Todd Moore (LuAnne's Brother) still run as a beef cattle farm! So take a drive out in the country on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to eat some of the best food cooked in the South. Just like grandma's cookin'!
