I personally know the persons whom run Mcdonald's Pets. This establishment takes extreme measures to ensure that every pet that one purchases before hand is taken care of. (hence: shots, deworming,.... all per a vet) Prior to selling an animal/reptile to a potential canidate, employee(s) do go over everything for the proper caring of animal/reptile. The employees do probe the potential buyer to see where, how and what other will be around. Recommendations are given and stressed to each individual for the care.I have know of an employee not to sell a snake to a young boy whom was just not ready for the caring of this reptile. He was not discouraged, his was given information and demostrated what needed to be done and the young boy came to the conculsion with his parents that he was not ready for the true responsibility yet. Please note this store has taken in animals from person whom 1. do not want their animal for various reason 2. hurt and injured 3. abused and the list goes on. This is a case by case decision and facility seeks medical attention. I do know that the employees go over and beyond to make sure these animals are feed, loved, played with and it shows. I would recommend this particular pet store to anyone wanting the truth of their animal/reptile not to mention the superb advise/reccomendations given. Please note: If employee in this store does not know an answer to your concern/question, they will get back with you. Amazing knowledge and truthful.

My recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs. This place is horrific and a terrible place to get a pet. There have been several pets adopted from here that had contracted a contagious disease called Parvo. A complaint was filed with the ASPCA which did not change their regulations and how they handled their animals. A petition was started to get it closed down due to the decrepit nature of the building and animal cages. The most noticeable offense is immediately when you enter the door, a strong, terrible odor hits you like a wall. Bad smells mean bacteria, the potential for disease, and filth. Do not get a pet here. Go somewhere that takes care of their pets and a place where your pet will have a much greater chance of being healthy.
