Mid-Altantic Building Solutions & Triply Ceilings Lp The TRIPLY Ceiling System has been installed in thousands of agricultural, residential, and commercial/industrial buildings over the last 25+ years. We do very little maintenance work, as these ceilings have proven to be very reliable and durable. Any Steel or Wood frame structure is a prime candidate for this system, with Agriculture being the most common. A growing application segment for us is Commercial and Public steel structures, such as Gymnasiums, Event centers, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Mechanic shops, etc. The Triply System is much stronger, cleaner, and far more durable than the typical vinyl-backed insulation used in steel frame construction. Retrofits are common.
If you are familiar with the large steel hoop buildings (Cover-All, We-Cover, etc.) with the see-thru roof systems – the Triply product is very similar except it has an extra coating on the one side to prevent the see-thru and provide a soft-white, color-fast reflective solution for interior applications. The woven multi-layer effect with the coatings included, gives it outstanding strength and durability. Insulation is often blown on top of this ceiling system. This is one of the most cost-effective ceiling and insulation values on the market.
The engineered fabric ceiling system is a reflective thermal and vapor barrier that can withstand the rigors of confinement building corrosives, while protecting the truss gussets and metal roofing above the ceiling. It is easily washable, and with insulation above, has sound-reducing qualities that enhance human and animal comfort and health. At near 200 psi rating, it’ll easily support insulation above.
The triply system really cleans, brightens, and softens the atmosphere of the interior space. We often add a layer of insulation with the ceiling or wall package to eliminate condensation issues in the colder temps, which in turn also reduces heat-load in the summer months. Energy efficiency and interior aesthetics are significantly enhanced by this ceiling/wall system.
Bird control is a priority in many agricultural buildings with outside access. The triply system is tight and easily strong enough to prevent bird penetration, which reduces the amount of feed-loss and dirt that goes along with high bird populations and nesting.
This system meets FDA requirements for food protection as in markets and storage.
Let us brighten & clean your building's interior space, while significantly increasing energy efficiency!
