Never hire Mr. Gotthelf of Mayfair Builders!!! We hired him to perform a home inspection. He was referred to us by Boulevard Title Company. He neglected to indicate that the home had polybutylene plumbing, although said pipes were visible when the inspection was performed. Rather, he reported that the home was in good condition, including the plumbing. We purchased the home and suffered a significant leak shortly thereafter which destroyed our kitchen and cost us thousands of dollars. We reported Mr. Gotthelf to the BBB; he did not respond.
