I had the exact same experience as well - they left our job unfinished even after many attempts to get them back onsite. About six months later we got an 'apology' call but they still weren't willing to fix the open issues and bascially said they ran out of money - we are still deciding if it's worth the trouble to go to arbitration over it. The owner threatened us about deficiencies in the home he renovated in an attempt to get us not to go to arbittration, but those items are in his contract so I'm not sure what he is thinking! Update 2024 - it gets even better - we just had to replace a quarter of the new roof they installed in 2011 as the ice and water shield just stopped in the middle of the roof (was missing) over the new plywood and he never flashed the chimney to the roof (just put loads of tar which failed almost immediately). Pictures are uploaded to facebook if you want to see. Just terrible.

Absolutely the worst. Don't let this guy touch your house. Shoddy work , unfinished work, arrogant, and entitled.

Anthony Basselini attempted to underpay me and was very rude and disrespectful to me in person as well. He refused to pay me some of the money that he owed me in regards to working for him. I was forced to call the local police on him after he caused an incident at a house that I was working for him at. The police were able to get payment made to me after Anthony was unable to furnish me with a 10-99 form. He originally had tried giving me a lot less cash then he owed me and that he had said that he had given me. It was only after I called the police and counted the money that he had given me that I found out that he had gravely underpayed me. I will file a complaint about him to L&I next. He was extremely rude, verbally abusive and very, very unpleasant to work for.

Basselini Builders finish work is below average and you will never get them back on site if they have their money, whether they finished the job or not.
