Even though I find this companies products EXCELLENT, the pricing practices leave me irritated. For instance, If six livers come with ONE cup of gravy, then WHY do the twelve livers NOT include TWO cups, as that is the volume required to use with that amount of product. Not only do you have to pay a dollar plus tax after paying extra to get a full dozen, but in order to enjoy them you are charged for the additional gravy to actually ENJOY what you paid for. Not only that, but when you pay for the extra, and call back when you get home and find you have been shorted, they expect you to drive all the way BACK to the store to retrieve your product, or loose the value you paid for. In my recent experience, I was told to just let them know the next time I came in and ordered, and they would comp the second gravy, only to be denied at the counter. Needless to say, I will no longer waste my time or money on this delicious but costly cholesterol splurge.

one of the owners, Cary ( apartial owner), likes to cash checks from school charges paid by work done at other stores he partialy owns. work is done by lets say by lindale store and charged to a school. school sends check to sulphur springs and is deposited. at same time money is taken out of drawer as misc payout.. but never given to lindale store.. this owner repremands and refuses bonuses to employees because he says food costs are too high. but reports sales to co owner "ricky" as doing great and recieves bonus for this. how do managers know... they not only talk to each other but have been sent emails by mistake from ricky to cary detailing how much bonus to get from each store because of false reports given to ricky from cary... taking money from register for personal use and no accountability doesnt seem legal or honest. false reports and mis rep facts to get bonuses doesnt seem legal or honest. promising bonuses to employees and with holding it by not managing money appropriately doesnt seem legal or honest.. i am sharing info so that chicken express and the stuart family arent robbed from. and that the brand name isnt tarnished by the poor choices of one or two people. current managers have proof of these things copied and saved and stored to cover themselves during any investigations or threats to them.

Taylor and Kyle at the Chicken Express in Canyon will not only throw away food early to get out of work, but Taylor like to threaten people that his Daddy is State Trooper and will arrest you, if he tells him to. I'm sure Taylor's dad is real proud his son hides behind his skirt.
