Very poor service & coordination of equipment brought in for service. I brought in a running, welding sa200 gas welding machine with a issue of the machine not kicking down out of high idle. After a good bit of time there at there shop my battery was on the concrete, the engine wasnt running because the tech took it upon himself to take apart the magneto when there was no reason to because the machine was running fine. In the process they broke the rotar in the magneto claiming that the machine wasnt running to begin with! Some of the parts to my machine were found 20 feet away from the machine in the grass & said "they couldnt find them" when I got fed up with them & wanted my welder back!!! It seems like they were "looking to drive up the cost" by addressing problems that werent there. In short, i brought the machine in for one condition to be fixed, thats it! I loaded my machine in my welding rig & they tried charging me for the extra work & I said your lucky your getting paid for the little bit you did & drove off. The guys at the desk were very helpful but the workers under them need to be replaced by more reliable compentent people that warrant a labor fee of $100.00 a hour to work on a welding machine that has been around for years. Its not like working on a B.M.W.! I wouldnt bring anything to get worked on at welders equipment in alexandria, La ever again. The time lost of a machine not working plus the frustration equals to find another repair shop or buy a new one!!
