Nancy called for collections she's very unprofessional. I did not ask for any personal information on the person they called only asked her it was a collections agency. So that i can pay the account for the person they were calling for. She proceeded to be rude so much so she never realized i wanted to pay the bill. She advised me i wasn't doing the person any favors and hung up on me. I called back and I asked her for her supervisor she refused to provide availability info. We recently found out through voting our address was changed for some reason and these bills are going to wrong addresses. She could have received full payment but insisted on arguing and explaining to me that their office only likes to talk to people who pay their bills. I tried explaining to her she was violating fdcpa laws with her harassing demeaner. She talked about praying for me all the while being a horrible human. I could have easily paid the bill over the phone in full. She's a sad person she hates her job, her life and is clearly miserable. To think that calling people in collections and belittling them is the way to get them to make payments is asinine and not very Godly. Seeing as she kept bringing up the lord while being a vile human. This companies approach at collections is ridiculous. The point is to cut the most profit, instead you have agents like this who can't read a person or call and instead put you in possible fed violations for fines. Tip to anyone who gets a call from this place advise them to not call your number again they have no legal hold over you. Get the name and/or id number of the agent and advise the fdcpa if they continue to call you they can be easily sued, the agency gets fined as well as the agents who do not follow the basic fdcpa laws they were supposed to be trained in. Its not a gold mine but surely more then enough to get your past due bills paid. With agents like Nancy here they are bound to continue slipping.
