Established in 1975, we have been providing professional counseling and support services to local residents for 35 years. Originally known as Mercer County Mental Health Center, we changed our name and our focus in 2002 when we moved to our new facility just west of Celina. Our mission is "to provide timely, effective, and efficient assessment, treatment, and support services for the residents of the surrounding areas who are experiencing or are impacted by behavioral health disorders." Behavioral health disorders are defined as any emotional, mental, or behavioral issues or difficulties which result in discomfort or dysfunction for the person affected or others. It is estimated that 20% of the population will experience a behavioral health disorder at some time in their lives.
