My name is Peter Mormoris. I am the owner of CompuMac an Apple Authorized Service and Sales facility located in Wantagh NY. This letter is to inform of legal action that will be taken against a current employee of Valley Stream South District 24.
CompuMac was providing computer related services to the Valley Stream South District for many years. These services included onsite maintenance, computer setup, repair, troubleshooting, and other computer related services for all of the Macintosh Computers located at V.S. south district.
I have recently become aware that one of our employees William Heyman, who has signed a legal N.Y. state non compete document which legally prevents him from working for any of our customers, or providing similar work services, has in fact began to compete against CompuMac by taking work for the Valley Stream south district. William Heyman is performing computer help desk support to the district. His work directly competes with the work we were providing. William Heyman was the main person of our employ to do this work. The CompuMac agreement with William Heyman would require a release document from our company in order for him to take this position at the V.S district.
William Heyman was made aware of this stipulation upon signing the agreement, and was reminded of this agreement upon his termination of employment with us.
