I parked my car at this parking structure, located at:
6416 Selma Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90028
***WARNING*** DO NOT PARK HERE. The sign outside said it was $6 to park and once inside, I was told it was $10. I paid cash. No obvious sign or warning that they close a steel door over the entrance at 2am. The steel door wasn't visible at all when they were open. Very misleading. I went back at 2:20am and they had locked my car in. I was stranded 6 miles from home on a cold street in the middle of the night.
I managed to call an acquaintance who allowed me to stay the night at their house 2 miles away. Took a cab there, cost: $12. Slept in my clothes on an air mattress on the floor. Took another cab back in the morning, cost: $12. Upon my return, they had blocked my car in with another car. They demanded $20 for "overnight parking" or they wouldn't remove the car. I told Carlos (the manager) what they had just put me through, and I needed to leave. He was obnoxious, rude and totally cynical to my situation. I had to hand over another $20. Total cost: $54.
I called them to speak to a supervisor, and eventually spoke to a guy called Eric. Said he would call back and that he'd get me back my $20. my call wasn't returned. Called multiple times and was placed on hold, disconnected, misled, and eventually told "You're not getting the $20 back so stop calling", and rudely hung up on.
This place is run by extortionists preying on people who leave their car there past 2am. STAY AWAY.
