I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jack and his wife at the annual Arts and Crafts Show at Wing's Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Saturday, December 1st, 2012. His sales presentation and smile are what drew me in (that and the fact that it was homemade fudge that he was selling!), but it was his story and the product that kept me there and even allowed me to purchase four different flavors of fudge packages. They used to own a chocolate shop in Flint, Michigan...needless to say, it was closed, along with the majority of the city, when Michigan tanked (long before the rest of the country). It is heartbreaking to hear such stories. Flint is know to the nation as "the murder capital of the country". To people in Michigan, it is known as a city down on its luck and home to many good, honest and hardworking citizens. Jack and his wife were so open and kind to every person that approached their booth. The fudge that they make and package together...to die for! Mackinaw Island...watch out for them! I do not usually write reviews for much of anything, but these two, they were amazing, their product is amazing. I honestly hope that they see this. I want them to know that I wish them the best and will talk about how great Toujour fudge is for years to come. I hope to see them in Kalamazoo again soon!!!!!
