I had been renting a unit there for the past three years during which time StorMart changed ownership/management twice. I am currently paid up through the end of the year. I live in Florida. I sent my son as my agent to pick up some of my things. He was denied access. The staff would not tell me my access code despite confirmation of credit numbers, address, etc. I was told that although I was renting a space, StorMart was private property and I had to travel and be there in person and despite my son's credentials and permission he would be denied access. The facility is corporate owned with offsite management. They refused to involve management and the customer service number was just a local answering service which refers calls locally. I was finally able to find my access code (thankfully) and my son removed some items. He went back two days later to find that the unit had been cleared out and swept clean, my things gone. This was done without my knowledge or consent and I was not notified. Again, I was paid up through the end of the year and all efforts to contact management untimately go local. I feel this is unethical and downright criminal. A BBB complaint was filed and legal action pending their response. Pretty unbelievable. Beware.
