I have ceased all business with this company. My elderly mother purchased a new burner in the fall of 2009 and had nothing but problems. "Rory," who no longer works there did the installation. When the heat was turned on it smelled like oil. "It's normal" we were told when we called his "cell phone that he left for us to call." My mother passed away, and when I took over, I made more phone call to another company to take a look. Without even touching a thing he told me there was a oil leak which you could visible see. I told him not to do anything due to warrenty, and called AF. The technician from the other company had to give the information of the installed burner to the girl on the phone, because they didn't have the information. Yeah. AF had a tech out that afternoon, fiddle around claiming he was fixing a lot of "Rory's" mistakes. Nice. This guy was no better and had to return 2 more times and finally replacing the fuel pump which you would think be be under the 5 year warrenty being it had just turned 2 years old. New Years Eve 2011, heat smells like its burning somewhere. I call in a panic, and spoke with Jon, the owner. He told me he couldn't get anyone out there until Monday. Nice. I made the decision to call the other company who came within 40 min. cleaned up the mess as best he could and told me it wasn't installed properly.
