If you want a well that comes back costing 30% more than originally quoted, this is your company. We were given a verbal quote and, less than two months later on the day the well was drilled, we were given a contract for the drilling and were quoted a cost for the rest of the installation, with a total cost increase of 5% from the initial quote. We signed the contract but obviously weren't happy to have zero notice of this increase ahead of the day of drilling. Upon completion of the well and running it to our cabin, we received a final bill for 30% more than we were originally quoted. Once again, we were given zero notice ahead of time that our cost would be increasing and were given no reason as to why it increased. When we initially inquired about the increased costs, we were told they found errors in our bill and would fix it. This never happened, even though we continued to inquire about an updated bill. Then we were given excuses for the increased cost, which included the type of pump that was used (they claimed they installed a certain pump, which they didn't, so that wasn't legit), then they claimed the road to our cabin was to blame (they drove it before quoting us, so they knew the road condition), they blamed inflation (zero justification for a 30% increase in two months), then they blamed us misunderstanding their quote (we were told directly what the cost would be for the full install and confirmed this with the owner). They never fixed the bill and instead decided to issue threats to pay the bill or face legal action. We chose this company because of their quoted price and had others that would have come back substantially less expensive than what we ended up spending. This appears to be their strategy: give you a lower quote to earn your business, then charge whatever they want. We have spoken with other customers who had the same thing happen as well. Buyer beware!
