Speaking on the behalf of the residents, I would not recommend Spring Harbor for anyone. The place is a run down shack, the director/administrator is a tactless, un-empathetic, rude, woman who could give a damn less about her residents. All that Simone Schmitt cares about is herself and her staff. Their rules need to be revised, you have slightly more freedom than in jail; and there are people in there with depression, yet Simone continues to degrade and belittle them. I would be flabbergasted to hear anything positive and sincere come out of Simone's mouth when she is talking to a resident. I believe with all my heart she should be fired and/or replaced. If you are thinking of sending yourself, or a loved one here, don't; many of the residents would tell you not to, and tell you how terrible Simone is. Obviously if so many people think she is a devilish fiend, it has to be true. I would give Spring Harbor a rating of negative ten. SIMONE IS AN EVIL, UNCARING, RUDE, EMOTIONLESS TROLL.
