This 1913 Craftsman bungalow, lovingly restored as a gracious and charming bed and breakfast, was named a City of San Diego Historical Landmark in 1994 under the official name "The Melhorn - King House." An Award of Excellence-winning addition was added in 1993, giving the artist/owner her own quarters, office and studio for papermaking, watercolors and Book Arts.
