In home tutoring for math, chemistry, physics, math test prep for SAT, ACT, GRE, GED, and other standardized tests. The One-to-One Tutoring Service has been assisting students meet their academic goals since 1979 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Tim Gasser, the owner, has been tutoring math and chemistry since the 1980's. He has tutored hundreds of students on the high school level as well as middle school and college students. He can meet the student at his home office, a local library, or the student's home within a 10 mile radius of Redwood City, CA. He received his BA in chemistry from the University of CA, Berkeley. He has a CA single subject teaching credential in math and chemistry. He has an MS in environmental studies from San Jose State University. He was a classroom teacher at the high school and middle school level for 10 years and still does substitute teaching in the Palo Alto School District. If you are looking for a tutor for other subjects such as English, French, German, or Spanish, he can refer you to tutors who formerly worked for the service and are now doing tutoring independently.
