My vehicle was towed by TNT Towing and Recovery Saturday morning July 25th. I did not have my keys to my vehicle so the tow truck driver was unable to put my car into neutral before loading it onto the rollback. He also did not use any additional equipment and instead drug my vehicle while it was in park onto the bed of the rollback which is not the proper way to load a vehicle when the wheels will not turn freely. Once he had the vehicle loaded, he drove the vehicle to my drop off location then tried to state he could not drop my vehicle because his boss would not allow him because Burlington Police made the call on my behalf. I explained to him that I was paying for the service but he still refused to drop my vehicle. I then called Burlington Police and they informed him that he had to drop my vehicle because I was paying for the service. He then agreed to drop my vehicle but said I had to pay with cash ONLY he would not accept a card for the service. I never received a receipt or invoice for the payment I made to them. It took him over an hour to unload my vehicle because he did not use the proper equipment loading it and it was stuck in park therefore he was having difficulties getting my car off the truck. He proceeded to bounce the bed and basically walk my car off the rollback. In the video I have of him unloading my vehicle you can see that the bed of the truck was not on the ground when my rear wheels rolled off of it causing my bumper and the rear under carriage to slam against the bed of the rollback. I contacted the owner of the company the night of the event he stated he would make it right so I took my car to the dealership and got an estimate. I have provided him with the dealership contact information as well as the video of the driver damaging my vehicle however he is not being responsive, all communication I have initiated and now he is not willing to pay for my repairs which are approx $1,620. In addition the co-owner Tim has proceeded to slander my name and tarnish my reputation around town by making false and malicious statements about me.
