After developing bad burns on the fifth day of a ski trip, and the first day using one of their products, I spoke with the owner of the company. During a long conversation, we determined it is most likely that my family had been building up a burn the entire week (when we used lip block in the morning, but not during the rest of the day) which "blossomed" on the last day, coincidently when we were using this SOL product; therefore the burn wasn't the fault of the product. In figuring out the problem, I found the owner was very responsive and genuinely concerned about our experience. He cared enough to make sure we felt reassured and understood. I appreciate his attention to his customers and the quality of his products. And after I continued to use the Sol Sunguard lip guard and I think it help my lips heal faster than they might have (son's mouth is still healing).
