Grizzly Firefighters. I am sending this commendation for Grizzly Crew C-5 assigned to the Bull Run Complex. On Tuesday August 21, 2012, a lady from the local area, Shosone/Piaute Tribe ,came into ICP and requested to speak to the I.C. which is myself, Ronald E. Guck ICT3- Bull Run Complex. This individual indicated that she experienced a flat tire and had no knowledge or ability to change the flat. The Grizzly #5 crew were enroute to their operational assignment area and came upon this lady requiring assistance. They promptly stopped and offered to help as requested. This lady informed me that the entire crew performed the tire change removing the flat and installing the spare. They were polite, friendly, and very respectful the entire time while providing their assistance. This was a very positive reflection of the Crew itself and also FFTR's in general. I appreciate the effort the crew portrayed to establish community relationships while also performing the duties and resposibilities assigned th them on the Bull Run Complex.
