I do NOT recommend Four Seasons Quality Painting - Sam Gertcher and Carla Gertcher. See BBB Michigan reviews and complaints. I hired them in the Summer of 2014. In late September, Sam called to apologize and would be at our house "tomorrow". Over the next month, he and his wife Carla painted (on and off). The primary work was to strip one brick chimney and then paint it...and then repaint another chimney. About 5 or 6 feet from the top of the chimney, Sam decided not to strip the brick. He insisted that he had scraped, caulked and prepped the area and was using paint that would easily last 10 years with no problem. It didn't look right to me, but he was very convincing and promised if there was any issue, he'd be back to take care of it - explaining how he and Carla had been in the area painting for a very long time. Five months later, the entire area that he didn't strip began to peel. I contacted Sam Gertcher by text and phone many times. I sent him pictures. Then I wrote a snail mail letter - but they would not answer or respond. This job was several thousand dollars. Both of them come across as very nice, but their work did not hold up. I'm writing this so the search engines do their job and other people don't get fooled like I did.
