Recently Grammy Nominated Patrick Lamb was recently given the Independent Spirit award by the city of Portland, given to Portland neighbors and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the community. Winners are selected from nominations submitted by citizens. Each year, the selection committee is comprised of representatives from Commissioners' Offices, the Office of Neighborhood Involvement, neighborhood coalitions, neighborhood business associations and past recipients.
