NHPS wants you to think they are providing an invaluable service and "filling the gaps" that Fresno P.D. is ill-equipped to handle. The truth is that the security guards employed by this company are everything you'd expect from your stereotypical security guard; Obnoxious. Disprespectul. Rude. Tactless. Self-Righteous. Overzealous. Individuals who lack the mental capacity to exercise simple common sense. Their inability to demonstrate even the most basic of people skills is more likely to instigate an altercation than to diffuse one. NHPS security patrols do not remain on-site long enough to be a deterrent to crimes such as assault, burglary or vehicle theft. However, they are excellent at removing someone from the pool after hours...or locking the laundry room doors while your laundry is still inside. Frankly, their main objective regarding on-site security patrol is to get in and out of the complex as quickly as possible. The safety, concerns, or considerations of the residents is secondary, at best. Overall, this company is a lacking in so many areas that there is really no benefit to using them.
