Just had a bad experience coming to this business recently. I had a a problem with my battery and wanted to check it out. I came to brothers to get a reading on my battery and found out that the battery was dead. A guy name JOE(owners son) said that it would cost $119 dollars for a new battery and insist that auto zone doesn't sell quality battery's like he do. He said he charge $47 dollars to put the battery in. A whopping $47 dollars to change 4 screws. I said, so that would be about $170 bucks. He said, "Yeah" I said, just start my car up and I would like to take my chances at AUTO ZONE. He went inside and consulted with a co-worker and came out and said, I can do it for you for $150, but that's the lowest I will go. Since I was in desperate need of getting my car back in service and being new to the neighborhood, I accepted. I only had $119 in cash on me, but he wanted to charge me for labor at $47 dollars. I had to go to the bank to get the rest of the money. I'm writing cause I want to let others be aware of how far 1 company will go to just accept cash without writing a receipt, just so he can keep cash for himself and not think about the customer satisfaction his father work so hard to gain for the years of business they been in. This is unacceptable, and if your looking to come here, be prepared to get your chain jerked like I did.. No stars out of 4.
