The owner of this shop, Raymond Santilli, refused to deliver flowers to a 16-yr-old girl because she had just won a lawsuit against her school. The lawsuit was about religious discrimination and the separation of church and state. What kind of a person refuses to deliver flowers to a young girl because of this? SHAME ON HIM

This business practices religious discrimination. You're forced to make sure your religion is accepted by them before they will do business with you. Just use someone else.

I'm very disappointed in the actions of this business. They feel entitled to decline service based on religious discrimination. Even going so far as to deny flowers to a 16 year old girl who has suffered much harassment as of late. These actions are, in fact illegal. Just as it would be illegal for a company to deny service based on skin color, gender, or sexual orientation, it is illegal to deny service based on religious preference. Greenwood Flower and Garden (401-739-8290) has made it clear that they WILL NOT decline service based on religious preference, and will be receiving a lot of business over the next few days for doing the right thing. I sincerely hope that Santilli recognizes the mistake they have made and stop discriminating against prospective customers.

Use a different florist. This one is completely unprofessional.

I am disappointed in the behavior of this business and it's willingness to discriminate on the basis of the religion of it's customers. This is at the very least immoral but also illegal. Shame on you in your failure to behave like a decent human being.

What kind of business discriminates against religious beliefs? Oh...maybe businesses in Iran or saudi arabia or .... The decision to not accept business for someone based on their religion is about the worst example of American business ethic that there is. Maybe you'd do better in Afghanistan.

Horrible service. I tried to order generic roses for a friend of mine, but they wouldn't deliver to her based on her religious beliefs! This is blatant discrimination. This is not okay.
