I started this company as a young man in 1969 as Cedar Roofing co. At that time I was mostly doing Cedar Shakes, ( as that was the most poplar roof back then) and I was doing a lot of new houses, etc. In 1978 Ken Langreder who owned PANHANDLE roofing co, came to me and wanted me to buy the company. I had worked for Ken when I first moved to this beautiful country in 1968. And had a good re pore with him and his wife Georgia. Ken wanted to retire.
