Sign says "Go Go Gas Port Henry Service." I saw this place described as old-timey. In person this seems to me the owner or worker brings a large white dog to work, ties it up out back between abandoned vehicles and near a trash bin. The dog barks constantly from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday. He says she likes to bark at trucks. She will bark hundreds upon hundreds of times a day. He says the New York state law on barking dogs does not apply as he says there is no noise ordinance in Port Henry. The person who works there also says he doesn't hear it and it doesn't bother him. This is near homes and the Port Henry Beach. If this is how he treats animals, anyone who lives or visits the beach or boats on Lake Champlain...it's unclear what level of service would be provided for auto or anything else they offer. There are plenty of other service stations near this area. Buyer beware.
