We had Anthony Detrapini,(now of Empire Sewer) claiming to be from Capital Plumbing, dig up our whole front yard in 2001 to replace old crock with a 6 inch sewer line. He pulled a permit, never had it inspected and had it covered up by the time we got home! OUR MISTAKE: not watching him. HIS MISTAKE: Scamming us on the 6 inch sewer line, dumping our broken sidewalk pieces in the hole, which damaged our water line (front yard had to be dug up AGAIN a year later for the repair!! AND he using his brother's license and company truck. GOOD PART: We won the small claims court judgement at 44th District Court in 2004; Case No.03-760059-SC. BAD PART: he never put in the new 6 inch sewer line, only a clean out!. We found out when our basement backed-up in 2011 and we had a DIFFERENT company come out with a camera!!! BUT, hey, the clean-out looks great!! AWESOME, We get to have our front yard dug up and re-do all our years of landscape changes again, WHOOPIE!! Don't let either company EMPIRE or CAPITAL anywhere near your home!!
