I have been natural for 3 years & I dont get my hair straightened often. Actually the last time I got my hair straighten was last year @ Fadis which is why I decided to go back today but today was a totally different experience. Well after about 15mins the guy called me to the back to get my hair shampooed & he put his hand in my head & said this will be $15 extra I said why? he said because your hair is pure & too thick. I smiled & thanked him while taking the ratty towel off my neck. It is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT to have a huge sign on the door that says wash & style $35 & when the client gets to the bowl you tell them its $15 extra because they have natural hair. I wouldnt have had a problem paying the extra $15, but it was the way in which it was done which was a turn-off for me. Im disappointed, but in the end perhaps not having them apply all of that direct heat to my hair was best for me. A professionally ran business doesnt need false advertisement to lure people
