I do not recommend anyone to get automotive service by Skinner Texaco because they charged me for some work they performed on my vehicle that I didn't even authorize. When I talked to one of the guys on the phone I was told that it was going to cost $90 to fix my car but when I went to pay the bill It was $170! I only had $140. They took it and said that I can take the car and just come back and pay the rest the next day. I had no intention of ever returning there to give them the rest of that money. They're lucky they got the $140. My dad went there a few days ago to get some work done on his car and they added the $30 balance that I owed to his bill without telling him. Of course my dad was very upset about it. I felt bad for my dad knowing that he has Alzheimer's and just gave him the money back. I said all of this to say that Skinner Texaco on Ferguson@Oates in Dallas, TX are bad for business. I will give them a star only because they did get my car to start.
