I took my Vintage Schwinn 5 speed bike to Kyle's Bike shop to have the wheel trued, brakes done and Kyle advised I needed a new front fork I agreed and Frank my husband said only proceed if the wheel can be fixed or replaced. Kyle advised the fork would be chrome even though I was loosing the original fork I said Ok because the paint was in very good shape and it is a Chicago made Schwinn. Went to pick it up the first time and the forks where chrome but a different profile all together, brought it home and realized they fixed the brakes, but did not true the wheel they replaced the tubes but did not place the valves on. So I sourced the forks myself and Kyle stated he could put them on and refund the price of the first forks never received refund. Went to pick it up the second time and the bike was in such poor condition the paint was scratched from being dropped on both sides and the hand painted Schwinn emblem was rubbed off on one side completely and the other is bad, there are deep dings to the metal on my bike it is ruined. I am letting you know if you care about your bike Do Not Take it to Kyle's Bike Shop on North Primrose wish I never had.
