My son has attended for two years now and he has learned so much. Skills he uses in his everyday life such as self defense and anti bullying techniques. He has also improved on his self control and made great friends.

My child has been attending for 2yrs now and I'm very pleased with his progress. Learning karate at SSK challenges him both mentally and physically, while remaining fun and engaging. We love it here!

Sophia has been going for 2 years now. She started when she was 4, and it was difficult for her. With the help on the Sensei, she gained confidence and finally was able to get on the mat herself and now loves it!

Superstar karate is such an amazing place. When you join, you become a member of the family not just a number at a dojo. There is a incredible group of staff and instructors that stand by your side to offer guidance and comradery. My granddaughter has been training here for six years with no end in sight. Throughout this pandemic, Superstar karate and their team members have risen to the challenge. As soon as the schools shut down, they went into brainstorming mode. They set up zoom classes from instructor's homes until it was safe for them to return to the school. They went above and beyond to challenge the students and keep them focused on their training and mental health. It was definitely the one constant in my grand daughter's life throughout this crazy year. I can't say enough to show my appreciation for this amazing group of people. There has never been a moment of regret since joining this family.

A wonderful martial arts school with a strong sense of community. The instructors are all very capable and totally committed to the students and the arts they teach. Their enthusiasm is contagious! The variety of the class times offered makes it possible to find something to fit anyone's schedule. Definitely an outstanding environment to learn or train in.

Just joined and love it. The combat fitness class is challenging (but also fun!) and is just what I needed to switch up my workouts. They are also very friendly and care about their members. I feel very welcomed here.

Superstar Karate in Carol Stream is the best school I have had the pleasure to be involved with. I have had some of my older children enrolled in other karate schools in the past, and they couldn't compare to Superstar Karate. The instructors are incredible, they are very good with children and truly care about them. It has a family feel that is very welcoming to both new and existing students. They work to develop the students physically AND mentally. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a karate school.

I have been looking for a place to learn a martial art where I would feel comfortable. As a woman, I often felt intimidated in my previous experiences at martial arts schools. My first class had at least half females in it. The instructors (and other students) were extremely nice, approachable and helpful. There were 3 instructors and I had individual attention. That has continued and is very important to me because it was a problem I ran into at other martial arts schools. I was so pleased with my first class that I signed up afterwards. I felt no pressure to do so, only enthusiasm. I have been to other places that charged less but soon quit after feeling discouraged. It's been a couple months and I'm happy with the progress I'm making. I'm getting a great workout while learning to defend myself. I really can't say enough about how positive my experience at Superstar Karate has been.
