Dr. Linehan is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1993 graduate of Nouvel Catholic Central where she lettered in basketball, hockey, softball and track. She went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Biology at Harvard University. She played four years of varsity ice hockey there, and was captain of the Harvard hockey team her senior year.
