In addition to the extensive government mandated training, applicants are required to complete an SSSI's in-house security officer's training program. In an effort to remain current with the constantly changing security industry, SSSI executives and managers maintain memberships in the American Society for Industrial Security, International (ASIS), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
