This is just one of those touristy spots I like to go. I am semi-local (2 counties away), but I look forward to popping into this shop when we come to Treasure Island. The employees are friendly, and they have some cool stuff. Their prices are actually pretty reasonable for a tourist town area. My favorite part is the seashells. I have little pet hermit crabs at home to remind me of the beach when I am away. All I wanted for my birthday this year was to come to Merry Mouse to get to shells for my crabbies. My kids were glad to go because they got a beach trip out of it. If you are in the shops at Johns Pass, it is definitely worth stopping by Merry Mouse.
