The firm specializes in residential and commercial projects including master planning, new construction, remodeling, and additions. The firm's philosophy is to create long-lasting buildings that meet the needs of clients, fit well in the environment, and are energy-efficient, cost-effective, and practical to build. Joram Altman started the practice in 1984, while he was working full time at Esherick Homsey Dodge and Davis (EHDD). He began as a staff architect in 1974 and advanced to Principal in 1990. In 2004, Joram retired from his position at EHDD in order to devote full time to his smaller practice, where he is able to provide personal, hands-on design services to his clie
