When I was young growing up in Oakland, CA, the best feild trip for me was Kilpatrick's Bakery. The smell of all the baked goods so rewarding for me and the tour was fun to. Everyone was so nice to the kids I remember going on at least two trips at my school. The greatest gift was the loaf of bread we get at the end of our tour. I couldn't wait to get on that bus so I can open that fresh loaf of bread and eat my first slice. That was my moms favorite bread, just so sad that I don't see in the stores anymore. Please send some to Stockton, CA that would make my day.
