THE GOOD: The facility is nice. THE BAD: They don’t feed enough hay and care is not consistent. Arena footing is inadequate and is not dragged often enough for the amount of riders/lessons ongoing. Barn lighting is dark. Bathroom is dirty, smells like urine and is rarely cleaned. There are “favorite clients” who receive special treatment. Scheduling lessons can be very difficult due to Kim’s limited schedule. The flies are terrible because the manure pile is right outside the barn. This barn needs a written list of rules; there are a ton of constantly changing unwritten rules. Kim texts, talks on the phone and talks to people while teaching lessons. Kim belittles her students. AND THE UGLY: Gossip is a huge problem. LOTS of family drama at the barn. Lessons are NEVER on time. In my opinion Kim lacks integrity, she can be unethical and I feel she put my safety at risk. Kim has 2 distinct personalities: 1) fun, happy, enthusiastic, your best friend Kim OR 2) cranky, negative, bad temper, belittling Kim. I feel that Kim has a bad temper and I've witnessed her taking it out on her clients. In my opinion and personal experience Kim is dishonest and will lie straight to your face before ever admitting fault...even when your safety is at risk. I feel that Kim is very passive aggressive as well. I definitely do not recommend Kim Angerman as a trainer or Tukaway Farm.
