An update from this post... Turns out Jeff Migala is not an owner. He is not even a manager. He was another sales person. Bill the owner, explained in his response to my rating that, with my locale being so close they could deliver it for free, or i could get a full refund no stocking fee and go elsewhere. That was all i asked for when i called to schedule the delivery in the first place! I went to the store. Paid for the balance of the order, then talked to Lauren who was beside herself at the situation and also very apologetic. I then had the opportunity to talk to Bill (the owner) in person for 20 minutes. He gets where i was coming from. I explained Jeff who carries the Migala name needs to be careful about how he presents himself. And i am now willing to raise my ratings. I will be placing it at a three, because I had to endure this situation. i will give THE Owner Bill, many kudos for his candor, integrity, and genuineness. Just got a call from Migala to pick up my vinyl flooring... I worked with the sales rep from the manufacturer while ordering this and arranged and paid for delivery to my home. Invoice says shipped to my address, and freight charges of $45. They say that is how their invoices look, and that shipping was not to my house. Now they want to charge extra to deliver it. Spoke to one of the owners Jeff, and he said that one opinion on social media wouldn’t hurt them... Really? That is how you run a local business? This is why I don’t do business locally. Could have saved over $1,000 buying online. They won’t get the rest of my house. If you end up doing business at this place double check and get everything in writing. Lauren Gast was the store sales person, and Jeff Migala was the owner with no integrity.
