Downtown Development Group At Downtown Development Group, we purchase real estate as a long-term investment, and look for opportunities to improve areas within the city of Portland. We take great pride in our city and look for specific opportunities that enrich the community. We also stay very involved in the Portland community by supporting numerous charitable organizations and actively participating on civic boards. Downtown Development Group and its affiliates have an ownership interest in more than 1.5 million square feet of various large properties in addition to 28 parcels of shovel ready, developable land in Portland's Central Business District. Our property portfolio includes the Public Service Building, Crown Plaza, the Union Bank of California Building, the Pioneer Park Building, Twelve West and Indigo Apartments, and more. The Goodman family also holds an interest in a number of parking structures and surface lots. Our major tenants include Nike, Columbia Sportswear, US Bank, Chase Bank, First Republic Bank, QFC, Paul Mitchell, Abercrombie & Fitch, Sephora, Baskin-Robbins, Starbucks, Chrysler, Precision Cast Parts, Union Bank of California, Radio Shack and Zimmer, Gunsul, Frasca Architects.
