Horrible, greedy people. I called and said I was filing for bankruptcy and they still garnished money from me. Every other lawyer backed off and was understanding as I paid my lawyer over 6 months to fie for me. They even took the last $243 out of my bank account. On a $2000 debt, and knowing that I was filing for bankruptcy, that $200 was petty, but meant ALOT to me.
They were rude and condescending on the phone.
I had 2 other Denver law firms that I was working with before I declared to file. BOTH of them were completely understanding and fair about the whole thing.
David A Bauer was not!!!!!! Greedy, greedy, greedy!!!!!!!!!
Way to screw the little guy, this behavior is part of the problem with the economy today. The money means nothing to them and EVERYTHING to me.

David Bauer gets his bread and butter by buying old debt. The best way to deal with 3rd party regarding old debt is to ask for 3 things
1. Validation of the actual debt (the actual accounting).
2. Verification of your claim against me (a sworn affidavit or a hand signed invoice)
3. A copy of the contract signed by both parties and therefore binding both parties.
They can never produce, because they collect fraudulently....
