I have been a Gateway Orchids plant boarding customer for many years. For the past few years it has occurred to me that I keep seeing the same few orchids returning, and most of the 40 or so plants never seem to be returned. I have asked several times for a census of what is there, and when there has been a response have been told that would be "too difficult." In the meantime, they still manage to bill me regularly. In more recent time, very few plants have been returned to me in bloom. Some of them are mysteriously varieties I have not seen returned in years and I doubt are even mine. As a result of both the lack of response to requests to find out what plants are there and having so few plants returned I have requested to have all remaining orchid plants returned to me. Despite multiple requests, I have not even received a response. Call me frustrated. I clearly do not recommend them to others.
