The run down and poorly kept look and feel of the location is matched by the employees. Upon first entering this establishment, I was a little astounded to see how crowded, disorganized, and frankly dirty the place is. But what is most important, is the actual services provided right? Ok so let's get to that. My husband has been a patient here for over a year. From the first day to the last day I have seen little to no improvement in his mental health issues and behaviors. He has been through a string of psychiatrists here, who have either prescribed him literally 17x the recommended amount of a medication, or they have treated him like a downright drug addict (mind you the only drugs he is doing is the nonsense they give him), and of course the psychiatrists that left. So the medical aspect of his treatment is leaving far less than what's desirable. On to the counseling. I am unfortunately too far aware of personal details of his "counselor" as it seems she doesn't have the proper patient boundaries. After insisting to me personally that she has been giving my husband coping exercises and behavioral techniques, I have yet to see or hear of one. I am Jewish, my husband is not. She also found it professional to explain to MY husband that she married a Jew but refused to convert because she found the "mikvah thing just too weird." Yes. That is word for word. Telling a family trying to balance interfaith relations that she thought it was "just too weird"
