I woke up a few hours ago, after the nap I took when I got home from Dr. Cohen's office. I'm one of those people who was petrified of the dentist. I met Dr. Cohen by fluke and when he told me he's a dentist, I talked to him about how I have avoided going to the dentist for years. He told me he specialized in sedation dentistry. I knew about sedation dentistry, but I only knew about IV sedation or general anesthetic. I didn't realize they now have pills you can take and basically have no awareness of what is going on while you are at the dentist. The other thing I didn't realize is that if you get an infection in your mouth, it can go to your heart and cause a hole in your heart. Yikes! I had a tooth that had almost nothing left of it and I knew it was about to get infected. Dr. Cohen, rebuilt the tooth and put a crown on it. It's so amazing to feel such a solid tooth in my mouth. I was always having to chew on the other side of my mouth. It will be so nice to just chew and not think about it. Dr. Cohen did an AMAZING job and now I am going to go and get all the rest of my work done. After 20 years of not going to the dentist, I am so thankful I met Dr. Cohen. I believe everything happens for a reason. So I guess the universe thought I'd better get my teeth fixed. LOL. Thank you God. Thank you Dr. Cohen.
