I used the "WoodFire" brand BBG briquets to do some ribs on and they turned out to be the worst tasting ribs ever. In fact the smell of the briquets gave me a bad headache. The bag says no chemicals on it but i would swear there was some type of glue used, what else would hold all that sawdust together? I used the rest of the bag of briquets to get a bonfire going and i highly recommend them for this use over trying to cook over them

great! used half a bag to grill some chicken and it added a great wood flavor not an overpowering charcoal taste. Highly recommended! let the flames die down and turn to ash on the outside just like charcoal.
