eat : an american bistro This small, intimate location tucked away at the north end of the virginia beach oceanfront, has truly become a local fave. The award-winning eclectic menu, extensive wine list and casual atmosphere is underscored by a friendly and attentive staff. The menu changes often, but has something for anyone and everyone–foodie and regular joe alike. For the adventurous, there's the Grilled Spanish Octopus or the Grilled Tuna ‘Bulgolgi’, while those with a more straightforward pallette might go for the Meatballs with Fresh Mozz (the best you'll ever have) or NY Strip Steak & Frites. Plus, there's a whole chalkboard of daily specials. Top that with one of the craft beers or cocktails and you've got yourself a true dining experience. Deemed One of the 30 Places to Eat before you Die by writer Lorraine Eaton, this local gem converts first-time guests into long-time fans on a daily basis. Open 7 days a week, it's a MUST-TRY in the resort area.
