This is for a charity for poor African children to have access to good quality education. My goal is to help African children obtain an education and break the poverty cycle that exists in may African nations. Many children face a lifetime of illiteracy and poverty due to circumstances such as poverty, homelessness, a lack of free schools and a belief that favors boys over girls; the belief that girls don't need an education. Africa has millions of young girls and boys who only wish for an opportunity for an education. The children and parents despair, knowing that a free education is taken for granted in countries such as the United States but is out of their grasp, usually due to lack of funds to pay for the tuition, uniforms and books that is required from Kindergarten all the way through high school. I believe all children deserve the chance to invest in education.
