E&L Paving and Construction is a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years of experience – working primarily for the railroad industry We specialize in commercial paving, excavation, and site preparation, we also have a crushing division offering aggregates for pickup or delivery. Our scope includes most of Northern to Central Indiana, Southwest Michigan and the Chicago Metro area and surrounding communities. Our railroad experience includes excavating for new tracks, preparing subbase with compacted aggregate, building & installing tracks, turnouts, and concrete tub crossing installation, complete track removal, excavation, and paving. We also have many years as a commercial excavation contractor, working closely with General Contractors to achieve complete site preparation, foundation digs, survey, and grading expertise. We also provide trucking services for both materials and equipment. Winter months include snow removal and salt application.
